UPDATE: HRP Consulting Group Report June 10-11, 2013
CMU has taken a pro-active approach in assessing its Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) in its entirety to ensure that the IRB is functioning at its highest potential and that the institution has a robust program that ensures the protection for the rights and welfare of research subjects, as well as the protection of institutional liability. HRP Consulting Group Inc. (HRP) was asked to conduct a program evaluation of its human research protection program. The results of this assessment are summarized in the HRP Report. CMU is committed to strengthening its HRPP and continues to work with HRP to address the recommendations made in the report.
