Teaching and Learning Consultant
Dr. Stefanie Lassitter is a teaching and learning consultant for the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. Stef has worked in higher education for twenty years having served as an associate professor of education, manager of a writing center, and director of faculty support. Her areas of interest include the Community of Inquiry model, social presence, adult learning motivation, and retention. She earned her undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University, her master’s from Eastern Michigan University, and her EdD in Teaching and Learning with a concentration in Higher Education from Argosy University.
In her spare time, Stef plays a purple ukulele, enjoys summers on Sanford Lake with her husband, Marc, and their sons, Elliot and Ethan.
