If you are updating from a previous version of the software, we recommend that you uninstall the old version before downloading and installing a newest/latest version. If you run into any problems with downloading or installing, feel free to contact Brian Roberts at 774.2116 o r call the company technical support staff at 866.746.3015.
NOTE: All of the classrooms on campus have been updated to TurningPoint 5. All faculty are required to update to this new version of the software. All of your existing presentations and questions lists will be converted into the new version. Once your content has been converted, it will no longer work in older versions of the software.
Please update your laptop and desktop computers to the this new version as well.
The newest version of the software for both Windows and Apple/Mac users is TurningPoint 5. Users can download the installation files via the link below. For those that have been using the system for a while, please note that there is only one installer for Windows and one installer for Apple/Mac. These single installers will install both the PowerPoint Polling and AnyWhere Polling components. It is now all one software package.
The page that loads is going to look like the image below. Pick either the PC Install or Mac - No Install version, whichever is appropriate for your preferred operaring system. Don't worry that the Mac version says "no install". Go ahead and install it as you would any other software. You'll need to fill out an information form before the download link appears.
Once you have downloaded the software, install it, fire it up, and then take a look at the tutorials page to learn how to do a lot of great stuff. We look forward to seeing you at a workshop soon.
