Executive Editor - Handcrafted Words
Jeanne was a member of the CMLife Staff as a student. She began her career writing and editing for various newspapers and magazines, such as The Pacific Daily News in Guam and The Honolulu Star-Bulletin.
She became a food editor at Better Homes & Gardens – they had much food experience and needed one with more writing proficiency.
She developed her culinary skills and started developing her own recipes to be included in the magazine. This eventually led to the editorship at Taste of Home. Taste of Home is America’s largest food and entertaining magazine with a circulation of about 3.2 million.
She is currently the Executive Editor of Handcrafted Words and co-author (with daughter Lindsey) of the book Heartbreak Recovery Kitchen: Recipes and Remedies for Mending and Moving On. Their website also features a blog.
She has been a contributing food editor at magazines such as Organic Gardening, Diabetic Living, Grilling 2010, and Italian 2010.
Before Taste of Home, she was editing and managing every aspect of a MasterChef newsstand special, the first publication from the TV show.
