​"Winning the 2013 Dick Enberg Scholar-Athlete of the Year award was one of my most memorable moments as a student," Lazar said. "The award encompasses everything a student-athlete should strive for — a high GPA, distinctive performance on the field and teamwork. Hard work truly does pay off."

  • Selected as an alternate in 2011 to the Canadian Women's National Under 21 Team
  • Named to the All-MAC Tournament team in 2010 and 2012
  • Three-time first team All-MAC selection.
  • Second team all-region honors in 2012<

Academic Accomplishments:

  • Selected to the Academic All-MAC team 2011, 2012 and 2013
  • Named to the NFHCA All-Academic Team all four years of her career
  • 2013 Dick Enberg Scholar-Athlete of the Year award
  • Helped her team rank in the top five nationally in team GPA the past three seasons, including top GPA in the 2011-2012 season

  • Involved with the field hockey program's adopt-a-family effort that assisted a family affected by Hurricane Sandy

Postgraduation: Will attend graduate school at CMU to continue her research in chemistry
