EVANUIK, JENNIFER
Biography
Jennifer Evanuik is the Executive Director of the Office of Global Engagement at Central Michigan University. In this role, she promotes internationalization and oversees study abroad, international student and scholar services, and international agreements/partnerships. Prior to joining CMU, Jennifer served in various roles at Georgia Tech, Davidson College, Wake Forest, and Providence Day School (Charlotte, NC). Over 15+ years, Jennifer has developed expertise in education abroad administration, global learning, intercultural communication, agreements, international risk management, and industry and partnership outreach. Jennifer has taught courses on intercultural communication at Georgia Tech and Wake Forest and serves as a NAFSA peer trainer. Actively involved in the field, she holds leadership roles in NAFSA and AIEA. In 2014, Jennifer was selected for the Fulbright International Education Administrator Seminar in Korea. Jennifer holds a B.S. in French from the Pennsylvania State University and an M.Ed. in Social and Comparative Analysis in Education from the University of Pittsburgh. Jennifer studied abroad in Paris as an undergrad and participated in a service-learning program in Peru during her Master's program.
