Collecting Water
Water-Inspired Artworks from the Permanent Art Collection of CMU
October 5 - November 7, 2021, Baber Room
The Baber Room Gallery hosts Collecting Water, an exhibition of water-inspired artworks from CMU’s permanent art collection. This exhibition coincides with Big Water Creates Big Impact, a virtual exhibition hosted by CMU Libraries in collaboration with the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Libraries, and also explores the theme of Deep Waters and the Impact of Water as investigated by CMU students and faculty in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences throughout the 2021/2022 school year. Collecting Water features work in a variety of media by artists such as Lexi Wilson, Salvador Dali, Merav Tzur, Lon Ferguson, and many more.
