Scholarships open the door to a world of new experiences

“I received the Centralis Gold Scholarship for the Honors Program, and without it I would not be doing anything I am today. It has opened so many doors for me to explore not only potential classes and experiences at CMU, but across the country and the world as well.”

Unconventional classes provide a new outlook on life

“The best class I have taken was Rocky Mountain Adventure last summer. We backpacked in the Flattops Wilderness in Colorado for five days with nothing but the camping essentials in our backpacks. I have traveled to Colorado before, but this was an entirely new and exciting way to do it. It was an incredibly beautiful, humbling and challenging experience where I made lifelong friends and learned to appreciate and take better care of the outdoors. To be able to hike in the mountains for three credits was one of the coolest things I have ever done.”

Life-changing opportunities await

“I never thought I would be able to study abroad so easily and be so encouraged to do so. CMU really wants all of their students to have the chance to learn in a new environment and gain appreciation for other cultures and ways of life. There are so many life-changing and worthwhile opportunities offered.”

Learn from the life experiences you encounter

“College opens your eyes to so many different people and pathways of life. Broaden your horizons and learn from the life experiences you have here, not just your classes. Whether it be the supportive staff, your neighbors down the hall or a study abroad experience you have always wanted, take advantage of every opportunity and enjoy every moment.”

Get ready for the best years of your life

“What I love most about CMU is the atmosphere of excitement and friendliness. The campus welcomes students in and allows them to feel like this is their home. It also encourages them to have the best years of their life.”
