We are proud to partner with the Science Discovery Center at the University of Colorado, Boulder on a growing project. Build a Better Book is an initiative connected with libraries and makerspaces across the country. Middle and high school students create accessible picture books for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. The Center is proud to join this project. Visit Build a Better Book by clicking here.
Through this project, students will:
work with faculty and professionals
engage in various maker technologies, such as 3D printing, paper circuitry, and design thinking
participate in meaningful discussions and simulations to better understand their audience for the project
