We will be offering virtual field trips for the 20-21 school year.
Students will have exposure to new experiences, concepts, and materials, with emphasis placed on iterative and creative processes at work in designing a prototype. See our general descriptions below to find the best fit for your class.
Field trips are most appropriate for 3 - 9th grade.
Mini-Design Thinking: Best for classes who are under time constraints. This trip does not deeply engage students in the design thinking process, but it offers a shared experience in ideating and prototyping.
Time: 30 - 45 minutes
Cost: $2 per student
Design Thinking: Best for classes interested in a detailed experience. Appropriate for those new to the process.
- Time: 2 hours; can be done in a single session or split over 2-3 days
