Fire Up Friday events are designed to celebrate your admission to CMU and provide you and your family with a deeper understanding of your next steps. You will hear from and connect with many of our support offices and spend time learning more about academic programs.

- Hear from CMU leadership
- Learn about your next steps from CMU experts – New Student Orientation, Residence Life, and current students
- Attend the Fire Up Fair to meet with student support service offices and academic representatives
- Enjoy lunch in a residential restaurant
- Visit with faculty and staff in their academic units
- See a residence hall room and take an optional walking campus tour
*Please note, Fire Up Friday is different than New Student Orientation. You will learn about orientation at Fire Up Friday, but are still required to attend an orientation session.
