2026 10 Within 10: Annie Anstey

Class of 2020, College of Business Administration

As an agency elite sales account executive at Delta Air Lines in Atlanta, Annie Anstey, ’20, has built her career on the connections she first made at CMU. From her first job out of college to her current role, the CMU network has been present at every turn.

In her role at Delta, Annie manages multimillion-dollar contracts for corporations and agency partners worldwide. She has been recognized by executives at many of those companies for the quality of her relationship management — a testament to how seriously she takes the trust her partners place in her. She also volunteers with the Atlanta Community Food Bank and participates in Delta’s Behind the Wings program, an immersion initiative that allows corporate employees to see how frontline operations run and to support their peers.

Moving to Atlanta during the pandemic, Annie knew the city and the job market would be challenging; what she didn’t anticipate was finding a community of CMU Chippewas who made it feel like home almost immediately. That experience confirmed something she already believed: the CMU bond travels.

At CMU, Annie served as vice president of membership for Alpha Kappa Psi, the co-ed business fraternity. Her involvement with the organization — from her student years through her professional career — has continued to open both personal and professional doors. She was also a leader in the Volunteer Center, where she developed a lasting passion for community service as a site leader for the Lunch Buddies program. In addition, she was an active member of Collegiate DECA, earning first place at the state finals in marketing research and later returning as a volunteer judge after graduation.

Today, Annie brings those values together by helping connect first-generation CMU students with career opportunities through Queller Scholar visits to Delta. She helps support the program by rallying five fellow CMU alumni working in Delta’s corporate offices to share their stories and career paths with first-generation students visiting Delta headquarters in Atlanta each year.

“Don’t let imposter syndrome get the best of you,” she tells students. “Continue to persevere.”

For Annie, being a CMU Chippewa is a legacy she carries with her wherever she goes — and a reason to keep giving back.

This summer, Annie will marry fellow CMU alumnus Griffin Rocheleau, ’20, and they’re excited to include four CMU alumni in their wedding party and countless others as guests.

Annie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and hospitality with a minor in professional sales from CMU’s College of Business Administration.
