Your counselor will work with you to identify appropriate levels of support, which may include referral to a community-based professional to best meet your needs.
The Counseling Center maintains a list of community resources. We do not assure provider quality or the outcome of treatment with a specific service provider.
Your insurance company can also provide a list of providers who are in your plan. Sometimes, your health insurance company will cover only certain types of providers, so check how your plan works by calling your insurer's information number or visiting their website. There are many online resources available to utilize when creating your support team. These resources are not regulated by Central Michigan University.
