Central Michigan University is excited to open its applications for the traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program! The online application portal opens October 1, 2025 and will close at midnight on October 31, 2025. Applications will be accepted exclusively online.

This program begins with one year of prerequisite coursework, followed by six semesters of professional nursing education. With a focus on small cohort sizes, students benefit from close-knit connections with peers, faculty, and clinical mentors—ensuring personalized support from day one through graduation.

Students will train in CMU’s state-of-the-art Nursing Laboratory and Interprofessional Education and Practice (IPEP) Center, gaining hands-on experience in simulated and real-world settings. Clinical rotations begin in the second year, offering exposure to a variety of healthcare environments.

With nursing projected to be among the top five careers for job growth over the next decade, a BSN from CMU positions you to lead in a rapidly evolving field.
