CMU announces 2026 Fall Break dates
No classes on main campus Oct. 12 and 13
Central Michigan University has announced dates for the 2026 Fall Break, which impacts face-to-face classes held on its main campus in Mount Pleasant: Monday, October 12, and Tuesday, October 13, 2026. CMU will add these dates to its online Academic Calendar later this week.
During Fall Break, CMU will hold no classes on its main campus; however, students enrolled in online-only classes and those taking classes through CMU Online may still have classes. All students should carefully review their class syllabi and check with their instructors if they have questions.
The university remains open during Fall Break, and most offices will continue serving students, faculty, staff, guests and community partners. Residence halls and several CMU Dining locations will also remain open for students who choose to remain on campus during the break,
