CMU Celebrates Global Entrepreneurship Week
The IBIE connects students with local business leaders
The Isabella Bank Institute for Entrepreneurship will host several informational and interactive events November 14-20 to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week at CMU.
Global Entrepreneurship Week is a worldwide initiative to promote, celebrate and empower new entrepreneurs. The event gives those who have started their own businesses the opportunity to share insights and mentor the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Events during the week provide students and community members the opportunity to network with local business leaders, receive feedback on entrepreneurship skills, develop new partnerships, and exchange new ideas.
“All students are encouraged to attend the events. We are delighted to have the opportunity to highlight current students working on their ventures and expose students to the world of entrepreneurship through our community partners and local business leaders,” said Program and Event Manager for the IBIE, Kaye Reimers.
The events during the week include a “Women’s Entrepreneurship Forum” – open to students, faculty, staff, and community members, a 3D print scavenger hunt, and New Venture Challenge Bootcamp where students can build relationships with mentors and workshop their venture ideas.
