CMU Mount Pleasant locations will close at 4 p.m. today

CMU will continue to monitor weather conditions

Central Michigan University’s main campus and Global Campus headquarters in Mount Pleasant will close at 4 p.m. today due to inclement weather.

Classes that extend into or begin after the 4 o’clock hour are canceled. Offices and buildings will close; exceptions include residence halls and residential dining facilities. Some venues may have limited hours, such as the Student Activities Center or the main library, and scheduled Athletic events may occur; please check their respective websites or social media for the latest updates.

We will continue to monitor weather conditions overnight and will communicate any further actions to our community via email and the CMU Facebook and CMU Twitter accounts.

Employees who work in 24-hour operations or whose services may be needed during the closure should check with their supervisor for specific instructions relative to reporting to work. Faculty and staff who have the ability to work remotely may do so as directed by their supervisor. Class and work activities previously scheduled for remote instruction/work will continue.
