Nominations now open for 2025-26 Staff Excellence Awards

Central Michigan University students, faculty and staff are invited to nominate exemplary staff members for the 2025-2026 Staff Excellence Awards.

The nomination period opened this week and will remain open through Friday, March 6. Nominators must complete each of the form’s questions using specific examples of how the nominated staff member embraces CMU’s core values and Leadership Standards.

Nominate a CMU staff member

A committee of individuals from the Shared Governance Council will review all nominations and select a slate of candidates for approval by CMU President Neil MacKinnon. 

Award recipients will be notified in the summer months ahead of the recognition ceremony in the fall semester.
