Open forums scheduled for Vice President of CMU Innovation and Online finalists

CMU community invited to open forums next week

The Central Michigan University community will have opportunities to meet with finalists in the search for the next vice president of CMU Innovation and Online.

Following a national search, three finalists have been invited to meet with a variety of stakeholders and participate in open forums next week, which will allow attendees to learn about their qualifications and interest in this leadership position.

All forums will be held in the Creative Space in the CMU North building (802 Industrial Drive, Mt. Pleasant, MI). Participants may attend in person or virtually via the links below.

Monday, October 27 – Becky Copper-Glenz

Copper-Glenz currently serves as the dean of the School of Graduate, Online and Continuing Education at Fitchburg State University. Copper-Glenz earned a Doctor of Education in Leadership and a master’s degree in human development from Saint Mary’s University, and a bachelor’s degree communications and international relations from Carroll College.

Wednesday, October 29  – Trudi Weyermann

Weyermann currently serves as the assistant provost for learning initiatives at Ball State University. Weyermann earned a Doctor of Arts in Music Composition and a master’s degree in music from the University of Northern Colorado, and bachelor’s degrees in music education and music theory from Newberry College.

Thursday, October 30 – Kaleb Patrick

Patrick currently serves as the interim vice president for Innovation and Online at Central Michigan University. Patrick earned a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership, a Specialist in Education degree, and a master’s degree in humanities from Central Michigan University, and a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Ferris State University.
