Opportunities to share input in the search for the next dean of the CMU College of Medicine

As the search begins for the next dean of the CMU College of Medicine, the university community will have opportunities to offer valuable input.

Representatives from the executive search firm Korn Ferry, including Anna Flagg, Dr. Toni Lam, Margaret Stover, and Dr. Josh Ward, are assisting with the search process and will host two listening sessions open to all CMU stakeholders. These sessions will be held on the dates and times listed below in CMED 2403 and virtually.

Monday, October 6

• Staff session: 9:00-10:00 a.m. 
• Open session: 10:15-11:30 a.m.
• Faculty session: 1:00-2:00 p.m.

Tuesday, October 7

• Open session: 10:00-11:15 a.m.

Insights gathered during these sessions will help guide the national search. Participants will be invited to share their perspectives on key qualities and leadership attributes desired in the next dean, reflect on challenges and opportunities ahead, and highlight the unique strengths of the CMU College of Medicine.
