Central Michigan University President Neil MacKinnon will deliver his 2025 State of the University Address at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, in Warriner Hall’s Plachta Auditorium.

The event is open to students, faculty, staff, alumni, friends and community members. For those unable to attend in person, a live broadcast of the event also will be available via livestream.

The presentation will reflect on progress made at CMU during MacKinnon’s first year. The president also will lay out a vision for the university’s future.

“How we face challenges, innovate to meet our mission, and handle significant change will determine our success in the years ahead,” MacKinnon wrote in a message to the campus community earlier in October.

After his presentation, MacKinnon will be joined by a student moderator for a fireside chat. Questions for consideration should be submitted in advance by filling out this form.

The State of the University Address will be followed by a reception in Warriner Hall’s second-floor atrium.
