Virtual events honor MLK
University celebrates life and legacy of Dr. King
This week, the Central Michigan University community is uniting to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a week of virtual programs and events organized by Multicultural Academic Student Services.
On Monday, the annual CommUNITY Peace Service featured student oratorical contest winner, senior, Cameren Mahone; keynote speaker Cedric Taylor, sociology faculty member; performances from the Christ Central Choir; and students and staff from the Center from Inclusion and Diversity.
