CMU Dining announces leadership changes

Tyson Dubay and Ryan Ferguson drive innovation, creativity

CMU Dining at Central Michigan University has announced two key leadership changes in its operations, reinforcing its commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and enhancing the student dining experience across the state.

With over 25 years in food service and hospitality, Dubay is known for driving efficiency, fostering collaboration and leading service innovation. As Resident District Manager, he strengthened campus dining programs, expanded menus and improved service quality. Dubay said he is excited for the new role and upcoming fall initiatives.

Ferguson most recently served as Director of Retail Operations at Central Michigan University and brings more than two decades of experience and a strong student-centered approach to his new role. His long-standing commitment to the CMU community was recognized with the university’s 2025 Honorary Alumni award, which is presented to individuals who have made a lasting impact on student experience.

These transitions mark an important moment for CMU Dining, setting the stage for continued growth, innovation and enhanced service. With Dubay leading the district and Ferguson managing CMU operations, students and campus communities can expect a dynamic and enriching dining experience ahead.
