New York-based saxophonist Chad “LB” Lefkowitz-Brown belts a tune alongside students in the CMU Jazz Lab. Lefkowitz-Brown currently tours globally as both a soloist and collaborator of some of the top names in the music industry – such as the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra and pop idol Taylor Swift.Current CMU students, graduates and alumni discussed their career aspirations with professionals in their fields at the All Majors Career Fair, held in Finch Fieldhouse.Redshirt senior Johnny Lovett dominated his matchup against Buffalo sophomore Nick Stampoulos, helping the CMU wrestling team beat the Buffalo Bulls 28-5. Students in EHS 230 pay close attention to Dr. Donnesha Blake (far right in green) as she speaks about the struggles Black women face when trying to get medical assistance. Dr. Blake’s discussion was part of a student-led Black History Month, hosted by CMU’s Faith and Femininity RSO.The Central Michigan University Board of Trustees met in formal session in the President’s Conference Room in the Bovee University Center on Feb. 6. The Board voted to begin the search for the university’s 16th president, after President Davies announced his intent to step down at the end of the year.
