Watch for the CMU float in America’s Thanksgiving Parade

Millions will see the parade this holiday season

For the second year in a row, Central Michigan University will be a focal point in America’s Thanksgiving Parade® presented by Gardner White.

The parade, which takes place Thursday, Nov. 24 in Detroit, features a CMU parade float highlighting the university’s “We Do” brand and students, faculty, staff and alumni marching alongside.

The parade, which has been held annually for nearly 100 years, is the second largest in the U.S. and has twice been named the best holiday parade in America in USA Today’s Readers’ Choice Awards.

The parade route passes CMU’s Detroit Office, located at 777 Woodward Ave. Event details can be found on The Parade Company’s website.

Those hoping to watch the parade from the comfort of home can do so on the following Michigan TV stations on Thursday, Nov. 24 at 9 a.m.
