CMU Innovation and Online expands non-credit courses for professional and career development
An exciting new partnership between Central Michigan University and the cloud-based learning platform Amesite will expand CMU’s ability to meet the needs of learners for skill attainment to address the demand for professional development and career advancement.
Through the agreement, CMU Innovation and Online will grow its capabilities with non-credit courses, training and workshops to meet the needs of adult learners seeking to upskill or reskill throughout their careers. The new courses will be fully online and self-paced, giving users the flexibility to gain knowledge and skills at their convenience.
The new courses add to existing CMU Innovation and Online non-credit offerings and allow CMU to expand partnerships with business, industry, and community organizations to identify and address employee skill gaps while supporting upskilling needs of CMU’s expansive alumni market.
