CMU’s Family of the Year

Central Michigan University recognized the Hodges family as the inaugural recipient of the Family of the Year award. Senior Nyah Hodges credits her mom Devara Kay Hodges, a CMU alum, and her sister, Kylynn, for what she has accomplished so far. She said they both serve as role models, motivating her to do better as a student and as a person.

An initiative of the Office of Student Success, the Family of the Year award celebrates parents, siblings, grandparents and anyone else who supports and encourages a student's CMU experience. Nominations for the next award period will open in the fall.
