Health Professions Faculty Member to be Inducted to International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame

It was recently announced that Kechinyere (Kechi) Iheduru-Anderson, DNP, RN, CNE, CWCN, the BSN Program Director in The Herbert H. & Grace A Dow College of Health Professions, will be inducted into the International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame through Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. "Sigma" is an international non-profit with over 100,000 members and over 600 chapters that develop nurse leaders to improve healthcare. 

Sigma’s mission—"developing nurse leaders anywhere to improve healthcare everywhere"—is more pertinent than ever, as the need for nurses continues to grow. Dr. Iheduru-Anderson stated, “This is a great honor and a validation of my scholarship in nursing.” Dr. Iheduru-Anderson brings the Sigma mission and dedication to her work at Central Michigan University, as she continues to educate future nurses to become strong clinicians in healthcare.

Dr. Iheduru-Anderson has been a member of Sigma since 2010. She is excited about the future of the nursing profession and looks forward to its continued impact on healthcare.
