Recently, students in Grawn Hall met with representatives from Yeo & Yeo, one of Michigan’s largest professional services firms with more than a century of history. Founded in 1923 by a father-and-son team, the company has grown to nine locations across the state and five affiliated businesses serving clients in accounting, wealth management, technology, medical billing, and human resources.

“What makes us unique is that it was founded by a father and son,” said Bill Stec, a representative from Yeo & Yeo. “We are at the roots of a family-style environment. We treat employees like a working family. So that's why we stand out.”

Yeo & Yeo recently expanded by merging its Auburn Hills and Bloomfield Hills offices into a new Troy location, reflecting a continued focus on growth and statewide reach.

Roles for students and recent graduates include tax and consulting interns, assurance interns, and full-time staff accountants. The firm primarily recruits accounting majors but also welcomes students with related skills and interests.

“Our motto is ‘Let’s Thrive,’” Stec added. “We want to thrive with our clients and thrive with our team members throughout the firm.”

Yeo & Yeo connects with students through campus events such as information sessions and résumé reviews, offering students a chance to explore career paths, learn about company culture, and see the opportunities for advancement within the firm.

Students who missed the visit can still connect by visiting the company’s career page at yeoandyeo.com/careers/campus.
