The Connecting Link and CMU
Central Michigan University has an alliance with The Connecting Link (TCL), an educational training company that offers a wide range of professional development classes for educators, both online and site-based, throughout Michigan. Through this alliance, K-12 teachers can enroll in TCL courses and earn three hours of graduate-level credit through CMU.
Registration and a list of all courses available to teachers in Michigan are available at TCL's website.
Credit relevance to recertification
The CMU graduate credit awarded for TCL courses is designed for use toward professional and provisional certificate renewal.
TCL courses may not substitute for regularly designed courses in degree programs unless determined by the respective department.
