Art in the Legislature

Recent graduates of the Department of Art and Design have artwork in the 2022-23 Art in the Legislature Program in Lansing, Michigan.

Every year, artwork is provided for the Art in the Legislature program in Lansing. The Art on Campus Committee purchases work from student artists during the previous year to be a part of the art collection. The Art in the Legislature Program displays and celebrates the work of excellent student artists from Michigan’s 15 public universities each year. We submit a number of these works to the legislature and a committee of legislators select works to hang in Anderson House Office Building or the Binsfeld Senate Building in Lansing for a year.

This year the legislators selected two works:
