Broadcast and Cinematic Arts students place in Austin Film Festival
Scripts written by two BCA 508 students – Maya Savedra and Nate Plotkin – made it to the second round of the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition.
Scripts written by two BCA 508 students – Maya Savedra and Nate Plotkin – made it to the second round of the Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition.
The 2022 Script Competitions Semifinalists (top 2%) and Second Rounders (top 20%) were chosen from a field of 10,000+ scripts entered in the Screenplay, Digital Series, Playwriting, and Fiction Podcast Competitions.
In the category of Drama Feature Screenplay, Keepsake by Maya Giselle Savedra and The Trap by Nate Plotkin & Nick Ford made it to the second round.
