Team places first for fourth consecutive year

| Author: Heather Smith

CMU senior Emma Stowe won first place in Pi Sigma Epsilon's National Pro-Am Sell-A-Thon and Yearlong Sell-A-Thon competitions. The Pro-Am Sell-A-Thon is centered around a business scenario role-play selling for Cutco.

Central prevailed over 26 universities for the fourth year in a row in the competition, which provided 14 CMU students an opportunity to practice skills such as building rapport, exploring needs and providing the best solution to corporate partners.

Stowe, a marketing and logistics management major with a minor in information systems, has participated in eight competitions during her time at CMU. The value she found in learning from her coaches and peers and networking with corporate partners across the nation helped her secure a position as a district manager for Aldi following an internship with the company.
