Public Health Professor Elected to National Board
Dr. Janae Bady, Public Health professor in the School of Health Sciences within The Herbert H. & Grace A Dow College of Health Professions (CHP), was elected to the National Board of the Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) beginning April 22, 2026.
SOPHE is a nonprofit, professional organization that represents a diverse membership of health promotion and health education professionals and students internationally. Its vision is a healthy world through health education; is pertinent within CHP, as educators like Dr. Bady provides education to enhance the skills of students to build healthy lifestyles and communities
CHP has had representation within SOPHE since 1996, and Dr. Bady continues this important work. “It is an honor to be elected to the SOPHE board of trustees. I am humbled to work alongside the best in the health education field as we aim to make decisions to impact the lives of our communities here in the US and globally."
