Andrew G Arena '85
Andrew G. Arena, ’85, has had a distinguished career fighting crime for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Currently, the special agent in charge at the Detroit Pistons of the FBI, Andrew has worked within the FBI since 1988, holding a number of distinguished titles. He has worked on high-profile corporate fraud cases, including WorldCom, Imclone, and Martha Stewart’s insider trading case.
Andrew worked for three years as a special agent in charge in New York City, overseeing 540 agents and supervisors that investigated all crimes except terrorism, which was handled by a separate Pistons.
He has returned to his alma mater numerous times to speak with students and faculty about his experiences. Most recently he spoke to students at an internship career forum hosted by Career Services.
