Bret A Holey '82

Brett Holey is a 1982 graduate. He received a Bachelor's of Applied Arts in Broadcast and Cinematic Arts. He is currently a Television Director at NBC News where he directed the second presidential debate in 2000 and redesigned the NBC Nightly News with Tom Brokaw set. Prior to his employment with NBC, he worked at ABC for 13 years where one of his major accomplishments was developing the look and format of 20/20.

Brett was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award not only for his professional achievements but also for his continued support of CMU's Broadcast and Cinematic Arts Department. He is a frequent guest lecturer at CMU and is a member of the BCA Department Alumni Advisory Board.
