Larry Patrick
Larry Patrick lends his time and talents to support the Broadcast and Cinematic Arts Department and the College of Communication and Fine Arts at CMU.
He is recognized tonight with the Honorary Alumni Award.
Larry serves as president of Patrick Communications in Ellicott City, Md., a media investment banking and brokerage company and owner of 16 radio stations. He is the past president of broadcasting’s premier professional organization, the Broadcast Education Association.
He earned degrees from the University of Kentucky, the University of Tennessee, Ohio University, and Georgetown University Law Center.
Larry serves as a guest lecturer in BCA courses. He has recently been appointed an unpaid adjunct professor in order to serve on graduate committees and supervise independent study projects. And he has offered his expertise as a media investment banker and broker to recommend capital campaign strategies for the College of Communication and Fine Arts.
