Ricardo Resio '95

Ricardo Resio, ’95, has served as president of the CMU Alumni Association’s Great Lakes Bay

Region Chapter since 2006. Originally called the Tri- Cities Chapter, Ricardo spearheaded an initiative to change the chapter’s name in order to include more cities.

Through his hard work and networking, he has grown the list of active and involved area alumni to more than 650, making it one of the most active alumni chapters. During the 2009-2010 academic year, he planned and executed eight alumni chapter events with a combined527 alumni in attendance.

In addition to his service with the alumni chapter, Ricardo is active in the CMUCollege of Business Administration as well as the Honors Program. He is active with the CBA Mentoring Program, CBA Dialog Days and the CBA and Great Lakes Bay Region Scholarship golf outings. As a member of the inaugural Centralis Scholarship class, Ricardo serves on the Honors Alumni Board.

Ricardo, who earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, serves as Principal of Human Resources at Rehmann. Ricardo holds the honor of being the first associate of an ethnic minority descent to be promoted to Principal in Rehmann’s history. He and his wife, Stephanie (’96), live in Saginaw with their four children (Kasandra, Derek, Chase, and Rachel), and the Resio’s continue to proudly support CMU and give back in any way they can.
