Roger Kerr '69, '87
Roger Kerr, '69 MBA '87, has committed his time and talents to CMU and the Mount Pleasant community since his college days.
He is president and CEO of Central Michigan Community Hospital, where he began working 36 years ago as a lab manager. Roger worked his way to the top of the hospital administration, and he helped lead activities to keep Central Michigan Community Hospital as an independent, community-governed facility.
For CMU, he serves on The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions Advisory Board. He has taught courses in the health administration program, and he has been an invaluable resource to the program by serving as a guest presenter in classes, coordinating tours of the hospital, and by facilitating internship sites for students.
Says his nominator: "He is a wonderful, dependable resource for counsel and advice in professional matters related to the health administration program at CMU."
