Dale Wernette '67, '71

As president of the Phoenix, Ariz., CMU Alumni Chapter, Dale Wernette, ’67 M.B.A. ’71, is constantly contributing his hard work and networking skills to expand the list of active and involved alumni in the Phoenix area. His efforts have made the Phoenix chapter one of the most active alumni chapters in existence.

Dale received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Central Michigan University and received the “Army Commendation” medal during his U.S. Army tour of duty. As a student at CMU, he was a Resident Assistant in Robinson Hall, a member of the Vets Club, a member of Alpha Kappa Psi, and a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon.

For his chapter, Dale plans social events, networking events, and opportunities for alumni to attend professional sporting events in the area together. He frequently communicates with alumni, keeping them up-to-date on gatherings in the area as well as news at the university.

Dale is the founder of SHERPA & Associates and Sales Leadership Forums, providing sales leadership seminars, coaching, and keynotes to sales organizations throughout North America. For his work, he has received the President’s Award for outstanding contribution to human resources.
