The American Association of University Administrators has honored Central Michigan University’s Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning with a 2019 AAUA Exemplary Models Award for its innovative online cohort course design process.

“This is a wonderful honor for CETL’s exemplary approach to online learning,” said Elizabeth Kirby, interim dean of the College of Education and Human Services.

The nomination was submitted by Pete Ross, executive director of curriculum and instructional support; Barbara Klocko, educational leadership faculty member and program director in the College of Education and Human Services; and Jeremy Bond, CETL interim director of e-learning.

Awards will be presented June 6-7 at the 2019 Leadership Seminar in Detroit. AAUA also invited CMU’s contingent to present a slide show at the seminar.
