My years as a Leadership Safari guide were transformational. From my fellow staff members, to my freshman participants–we were each in a different part of our own story and all trying our best to fire up at 7am!

What advice would you give to current or prospective CMU students?

This is where you get to start becoming who you’re meant to be. Get involved; make friends who don’t look, talk, or act like you; stay open to the unfamiliar; and infuse your experience with as much joyful discomfort as you can.
