Dick Enberg CMU Alumni Commitment Award

Ira Kreft, '77, is a devoted supporter of CMU and the College of Business Administration.

He is the executive vice president and group manager for the Midwest region of Bank of America Business Capital, based in Chicago.

Ira has a profound connection with his alma mater. As the Chicago Alumni Chapter president, he helps the alumni relations staff members plan Chicago alumni events and assists the university with developing and continuing relationships with alumni.

He travels to most home football games, and he regularly attends alumni board, development board, and the College of Business Administration dean's advisory council meetings on campus. Ira also has lent his energy and talents to the New Vision of Excellence campaign, assisting with the capital campaign efforts in the Chicago area.

He received the College of Business Administration Alumni Commitment Award in 2004, and he has established the Fredrick and Rosemary Kreft Endowed Scholarship Award in the College of Business, in memory of his parents.
