Tuition Merit Award
Open to all international graduate students who meet the following:
- Cumulative undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.0 on the U.S. 4.0 scale.
- An appropriate entrance exam score:
GRE (Graduate Records Exam)
Verbal score of at least 157 and Quantitative score of at least 152
[note that the old GRE test equivalents are 560 Verbal and 660 Quantitative]; or
GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test)
Minimum GMAT score of 600; or
MAT (Miller Analogies Test)
Minimum MAT score of 418 - Proof of English Proficiency provided with a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) minimum score of 100 (ibt) or 600 (pbt).
If you meet all the above requirements, you'll be eligible to receive resident rate tuition! Be sure to maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher each semester to remain eligible. If a student falls below this requirement they will lose the award for all future semesters. This policy may not be appealed.
How to request a graduate tuition award
Just complete the Graduate Tuition Award Request form and email it to apply@cmich.edu prior to registering for your graduate coursework. If you need help, give us a call at 989-774-2796.
