Explore & Visit
Sure, we could just tell you what life is like at CMU. Or, you could see it for yourself with a campus visit.
Campus visit and tour
There’s no better way to find your fit than by experiencing campus in person! Your visit will kick off with an admissions presentation where you'll discover CMU's hands-on approach to learning. Then tour campus with a current student exploring academic buildings, residence halls and more. Grab your comfy shoes and bring along your support crew.
Want to dive deeper?: On select dates, you can connect with an expert from your academic area of interest. College Connections are a great way to ask questions and get a closer look at the programs that matter to you.

Inclement Weather
Program events may be altered at the discretion of our office to ensure the safety of our campus visitors and tour guides. The admissions office will contact all scheduled visitors via call, email and/or text if a tour needs to be canceled.
Visits may occasionally occur in the rain and uncomfortable temperatures. Please dress appropriately and bring an umbrella if necessary.
Service Animals
Service animals are welcome throughout the duration of the visit. Service animals are defined under the ADA as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Under the ADA, service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered unless the individual’s disability prevents the use of these devices or the devices interfere with the service animal’s safe, effective performance of tasks. In those cases, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal or other effective means.
Pets/Emotional Support Animals
Pets are not permitted inside campus buildings. As tours include a combination of
indoor and outdoor stops, plan accordingly. Pets must be leashed or securely tethered
and under control at all times during your visit.
Parking
All vehicles must be registered online prior to parking on campus.
