faculy speaking with a prospective student's family

Transferring to CMU is easier than ever. We focus on making it simple so you can focus on what really matters–finishing your bachelor's degree and landing a job you love.

Select from the three options below to gain the information you're looking for. Whichever one you choose, you will learn how to transfer, how to earn a scholarship, and just how far your previous credits put you on the path toward a degree.

Individual appointments

Book a phone call or virtual appointment with an admissions representative who will answer your questions about transferring to CMU. Select the rep you're already working with or choose one of our transfer coordinators.

Transfer Student Visit Days

Group visit including a presentation, campus tour, and discussion with an advisor about transferring credits

March 16 • April 16 • May 14 • June 18 • July 13

Hosted monthly, the event's registration begins at 12:30 p.m. (ET) and concludes at approximately 4 p.m. Activities include:
  • An overview of the admissions process, financial aid & scholarships, student support, and student experiences
  • Interaction with a panel of current CMU transfer students
  • A walking tour of campus
  • A transcript evaluation and discussion with an academic advisor
With you in mind, we’ve worked hard to create a safe opportunity for future CMU Chippewas and their guests by practicing social distancing, limiting group sizes, and requiring personal face coverings. Each student may bring up to one guest.
