Cost and Financial Aid for Incoming Freshmen

A CMU degree is an investment in your future. Here, you'll not only gain the knowledge to earn your degree but get the experience to launch your career. In fact, roughly 9 out of 10 of our graduates are either working in their field or pursuing further education within in six months of graduation.

And we're here to help make that happen. It's why we've had the smallest cumulative tuition increase for incoming undergraduate students of any public university in Michigan over the last 10 years. And, if you're a U.S. resident, you'll pay in-state tuition.

Not to mention that the vast majority of our students receive some type of financial aid or scholarships, bringing the out-of-pocket cost down as much as 100 percent.
