John Dixson and his wife and three children tired to settle at Pine River after the alva cables and others left and there were Mormon families there; see pg 96 and his G. Trav. Region

John Dixson is on Mackinac in the census of 1830 but it can't this man for he would have been 9 years old in 1830.

Who could this be? Frank had only girls in 1880 and John's oldest son was Daniel, who would have been 22 at this time? Also, this Father was born in Michigan and all Dunlevy boys were born in Ireland.

Did he die on a visit or did he stay when the family moved to Chicago? He died on a visit staying at Biddie Sam's where he slept in the barn and caught pneumonia, note date of death, February!
