At Central Michigan University, we pride ourselves on providing all students with a supportive learning and social environment. CMU provides an excellent home base for students to explore global perspectives and enriched educational experiences.
Central Michigan University supports applicants who have been impacted by COVID-19. Students who are temporarily unable to obtain required application materials (transcripts, test scores, etc.) due to COVID-19-related closures of schools and test centers should call us at 989-774-1619, email email@example.com, or message us on WhatsApp (989-774-1619). Options may include submitting unofficial transcripts or test scores for the purpose of evaluating the application. Some graduate programs may be offering alternatives for those who have not taken required tests (GRE, GMAT, etc.). For Summer/Fall 2020, we are allowing students to demonstrate English-proficiency using Duolingo scores. Students must score 100+ for full admission. Students may also be admitted to CMU’s Undergraduate Bridge Program or start a graduate degree by taking a course through CMU’s English Language Institute.
We want CMU students to pursue the degree they are passionate about in order to build a meaningful career path. CMU offers approximately 200 undergraduate academic degree programs. Undergraduate Degree Programs
Prospective international students should apply at least six months before the semester in which they wish to enroll. This allows enough time to receive and consider all the materials that are part of the application. In addition, this allows enough time for students to apply for their student visa.
Following the checklist below will help guide you as you go through the process of applying to CMU. The I-20 or DS-2019 (visa eligibility form) will not be issued until the student is accepted and the
International Student and Scholar Services office receives the required financial support information.
