I can't figure out who this is unless it is the mother of Morris, Big Phil's half-brother, who married Big Mary, Aug. 15, 1870. According to Maria, this family is from Kellybegs. Dennis "married Big Owen's sister & lived in Chicago." Big Phil was
brother. Katcheline Mor, Dan Boyle's wife, was a sister. Morris married Big Mary after Carmody died. Hugh - Maria said nothing about him.

In 1860 census a Neal (Cornelius?) O'Donald (O'Donnell?) is living in a bachelor household with Edward Moli (Malloy) & Wm. Gallagher.
The 1860 census also lists Wm. Gallagher in a household with Boyle brothers & sister [,orand?] Susan O'Donnell, a widow. This would mean that Mrs. Gallagher - Bridgebilly, was an O'Donnell or had a sister who married an
O'Donnell.
It seems more likely that this is Old Billie because his cousin Big Gallagher was married to Edward Malloy's daughter Bridgit.
Also in 1860 census - Edward Murloy, 60, & Edward, 8, are living in home of Patraick Gallagher, 50, & Mary, 50.

This is Hannah Veag's 1 st husband. She was married to Hughie Hummish Boyle by 1860 when Mary Boyle was born. Shoemaker was a posthumous child, & he was 7 years old in 1864 when church roll was taken & 24 in 1882 when he was married.
Maria said Shoemaker thought Old Billie was involved in the death. He was making the trip across the ice to the mainland with him when Gallagher fell through the ice & drowned.
